An estimated 130,000 people descended on London’s Excel Centre for this winters MCM Comic-Con and Open All Power’s Team of Jay (Jflash) and Katy (Mrs Disney Magic) we’re there in heart of it to soak up as much as they could. There was stalls galore, exclusive looks and cosplay as far as the eye could see. We got a sneak peak at next weeks Doctor Who episode “The Zygon Invasion” along with a few hints to things to come in the rest of the series from Stephen Moffat & Co, We met up with Candice Patton & Cynthia Addai-Robinson, who you’ll better know as Iris West & Amanda Waller from CW’s Arrow/Flash shows & picked up some convention exclusive merchandise. Be sure to check out this weeks up and coming episode of Open All Powers when we will run through all this and more! Who’s Excited for Day 2! Following on from this weeks episode, check out the trailer for the excellent, instant classic of 2015's indie scene "TURBO KID" - The post apocalyptic tale pulled straight from the spirit of the 80's. Join "The Kid" as he survives the harsh nature of the wastelands and meets a host of characters during his adventure! There is laughs, action, BMX's and gore galore! If you see one movie this year (before Star Wars: Force Awakens of course) then make it "TURBO KID". When arrow comes back to our screens this October, we know he will be rocking a new name and a new suit but it looks like thanks to the images from Entertainment Weekly show the new base team Arrow will be working from.
After a fairly lacklustre end to season 3 which saw Oliver manage to defeat Ra's al Ghul and then ride off into the sunset with his perpetually crying lady love Felicity Smoak, Arrow will return for its fourth season! The team, which is now composed of the Green Arrow (Oliver Queen), Black Canary (Laurel Lance), Speedy (Thea Queen), and Diggle (who will be getting his suit this season) are gearing up to take on Damien Darhk, said to be one of their most dangerous adversaries yet! Producer Marc Guggenheim has remained tight-lipped on where exactly in Star City the base will be but did say that it's a lot bigger than the old "Arrow Cave" and there will be secrets revealed during the course of the season. Showcasing new monsters, Zygons, Daleks, a dragon (yes an actual dragon) and a very badass looking Clara Oswald, the latest trailer for the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who looks to be taking the doctor to new places once again! Set to begin its ninth series September 19th, looks darker and more thrilling than ever in this new footage. Featuring plenty of the Time Lord's upcoming foes both old and new, a look at Maisie Williams' mysterious new character and the return of Michelle Gomez's 'Missy', it'll be sure to get you excited! First we had the easter egg during the finale of the awesome first season of CW's "The Flash", then we had the announcement at Comic Con that we'd be seeing him in season 2, but now we get to see Teddy Sears fully suited up and paying homage to the the legendary Flash of two Worlds story line, issue #123 - which was also the episode number we got to see his helmet for the first time (Clever huh!). Now we know what he looks like and the part he will be playing in Barry's life, are you looking forward to seeing Jay Garrick burst onto your screens when Flash returns this October on the CW. As always comments below! Allegedly coming straight from Disney's D23 from the Captain America: Civil War footage appears to feature Tom Holland as Peter Parker doing a bit of wall-crawling in the new Spidey outfit. The costume does match the description, but we're not sure if it is legit or not. What do you think?
Bill Murray ain't afraid of no reboot it would seem.
The actor, who played Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), is set to appear in director Paul Feig's upcoming installment of the franchise, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Bill Murray seemingly has always been against a third Ghostbusters. He told David Letterman earlier this year that his hesitancy stems from Ghostbusters II not having been as well-received as the first one. Feig's film, currently shooting, stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jonesand Chris Hemsworth. It hits cinemas on July 22, 2016. |
